I had this AH HA moment.......after seeing all of our debt in front of me and the computer telling us that if we keep on track we can get our debt gone in 6 years!!!! WOW!!!
My AH HA moment came to me as i was driving to work on one of those bad snowy days and i was in a bad mood and it made me start to think about Jon and my future.....if we had kids, i wanted to work part time....but if you think about it. if i take 1 hour to get to work and 1 hour home that is another 2 hours away from family, and if i have to pick up our child from some were thats more time!!!
So than Jon and i were talking about building a bigger garage for Jon and my car......then as you know women's minds go go go and start spider webbing on different tangents.....and one of the spider webs went to, if we are going to wait till our debt is gone (maybe not our mortgage but everything else) to build the garage.....why not add another part to the garage to put stuff for me to have a salon! WHAT!!!! DID I REALLY THINK THAT!!!! why would i think that, i have never thought that, since i love Mary Allies Salon and all the girls (we are like family)!!!! If we build it and i decided not to have it be for a business i will be able to do family and people who live in Ames, that don't want to travel to Des Moines.
It was weird, i actually felt good about it and calm! I would be able to work people in around my family and squeeze them in better to there family's schedule's !!! May be i can work in DSM still for 2 times a week so i can still keep my DSM clients but then be able to do ames clients too! I don't know though.....Jon and i are still praying about it and it's going to be at least 5 years or so!! That will give us a chance to save our money to build it!
I'm right now praying and researching stuff !!
So please pray for us and if you have any advise...i would love to hear it!!!!
