the Beginning of Lent

Our lent is going great!!! Ash Wednesday was great.....I witnessed to someone at work, who asked me about Ash Wednesday and Lent. Then we talked about the movie "The Passion of Christ" and how it does an awesome job of giving you a visual of what Jesus really did for us....it's hard for some people to actually to know that the bible isn't just store's they are true....this movie does an amazing job of showing you how true it really is!!!! How much Jesus suffered in the dessert for the 40 days......but how much he loved us to do it for us!!!!! I told her how every good Friday my friends and i try and get together and we watch" the passion of Christ" together it is a awesome way to bring us back to reality.....the reality why we are on this earth...not to just live....but to live FOR HIM!!!!!

Jon and i decided that we needed to start our day with prayer not just prayer before we eat breakfast....so we get up early and walk Sedona and pray the divine mercy and it has really opened our lives up more to listen to Gods words..........

I mean who wouldn't love walking with this surrounding them!!! God truly made this!!!

We actually had a neighbor stop and roll down her window and talk not just drive by and wave....i really love the country!!! I don't care what anybody say We love it and are glad that we decided to live here for the rest of our life :)

We also decided to stop going out to eat as much and jon has done an awesome job of this (especially since he would eat lunch out everyday almost!!) We find that besides saving money we also find more time for us and we get to just talk and enjoy ourselves.......especially since we got Sedona we can't eat our food on the couch any more...so the T.V. isn't on as much!!!
