Spring here we come

Gardening!!!!!

first spring flowers popped up a couple of days ago :)

(i never thought that i would ever say that word in my life!!!)

The last time that i have done hard labor outside was.....when i was living at home and it was maybe freshman year.....and hard labor was riding a lawn mower and may be planting some seeds......so really i have never racked a yard.....our new yard is pretty extreme for me....from never to 3 acres (we didn't do the whole yard, but enough!!)

Jon showed me how to trim a bush....

I wanted to just cut from what i see.... Jon informed me that you have to cut from the base .....well .....i kinda went a little crazy and Jon came over to see what i have done and he states "oh....wow that is quite the haircut :) do you not want this bush there any more?" me.....as i stand back and look at it..."um oops....actually yes its ugly....i don't want it any more:) so he so kindly ripped it out the bush with the skid loader....but since this bush has been at this house for a long time...the roots managed to go down so far.....when Jon pulled it it pulled out the railroad Tye and the sidewalkcame up too :( i guess we are going to have to do a little more landscaping then i was planning on doing....

I am learning that i get very over whelmed by the raking (of 3 acres) .....I had to start with small sections while Jon did the large sections........I learned that i need my husband to calm me down while we work....... small into big :) I'm defiantly soar from this new gardening hobby:) !!!!

this is Roman and Elias enjoying fun man time with Jon :) actually I'm not sure who is having more fun Jon or the boys :) so cute!!!!!
