Reflect Gods Glory

So i was having a crappy day yesterday......i was actually thinking about coming home earlier!!!! But then God desides to be God like always and shows me how im wrong yet again!!!! So Ruth Ann gave me this book to borrow called ïts not about me¨ how perfict is that.....so i was reading it and in the book they talked about how we need to be like a mirror and reflect God´s Glory.....and in 2 corinthians 3:7 ¨the people of Israel couldn´t bear to look at moeses face for his face shone with the GLORY of God!!!! so it made me think have i been shining.......nope!!!!! i have been thinking about me....and God´s like......HEY CHRISTINA ITS NOT ABOUT YOU!¨ so i got mad of course and was yelling at him....so why am i here? what am i to do? tell me!!! So he then whispers......Reflect my GLORY!!!!!! So then i started to remember the kids.....every kid has a storey....everyone of them would rather have a different life.......but every single one of these children are happy....THEY are reflecting God´s Glory!!!! For instance Roxanna...she is blind and termanal...meaning she will live for about 3 more years....she is about 8 and she is one of the most happiest children there......she has no family that wants her....but she keeps a smile on her face and she is always singing and making jokes (even though i have no clue what she is saying) she is ALWAYS happy!!!! out of all these kids i have only seen 3 family members come and see them or call them on the phone, and some of these kids have been here for years!!!!!! so sad! but they just keep on with their lives!!!! so when i start feeling sorry for myself and miss my life back home i remind my self...these kids don´t have a choice to go back home!!!! and they are all reflecting Gods glory by being there!!!!

Christina, it says alot when I hear you mention the young man from Ireland, and his return trip to Peru. God pulls us where he needs us to be.
I am so glad that you responded to God's call to this experience.
You continue to be in my prayers.

God is so good. He seems to always whisper to us at the perfect moment...usually when we're yelling!
